Group Funding Application Form
IMPORTANT
Applicants are required to complete ALL sections of the application, including the Budget Request and Other Funding questions, and submit it to the GPSA by the deadline. Please be as accurate as possible when completing this form, particularly the Budget Request and Event Description section. Evaluation of your application will be based on this information.
Applicants must include in detail the type of expenditure and amount requested (cannot exceed $300 per event), as well as a description of the event, and how it contributes to promoting community among the entire graduate community.
The Finance Committee will meet on the day noted in the Deadlines table. Applicants are strongly encouraged to attend the Finance Committee meeting in order to answer any questions Finance Committee members might have about their application. Failure to attend this meeting could result in a smaller award or complete rejection of the application.
Student group’s may apply multiple times throughout the year and may receive funding up to the maximum funding limit set at the beginning of each year. Once a group receives the maximum funding, it will be ineligible for further funding.
Funds are to be used for the activities, events, and programs for which the student group was awarded. Use of funds for non-approved activities, programs, or events may result in the loss of future funding by the GPSA.
